I particularly appreciated the description of how a 2D world would cope with 3 dimensions. I actually read the digital version of this book while sitting in my College Library Yay! Al-Kahili does an impressive job of explaining some of the most profound topics in modern Physics.
He has hosted several BBC productions about science and is a frequent commentator about science in other British media venues. This one is good for stretching.
